Open today, Saturday 7/22, from 9 am to 6 pm
We plan to be open Sunday too; we have a lot of berries!
Both front and back fields are open. More varieties are ready to pick, including Pacific, Pemberton, Rancocoas and Concord. You'll find the odd ripe bush in other varieties, such as the large Olympias I feasted on yesterday. Part of the fun of coming to the farm is tasting the different varieties, and choosing the one you like best.
I got up and made blueberry muffins this morning with some of the Weymouth berries we had picked. Yummy! I used a recipe from Ina Garten; they were very light (and had 12 tablespoons of butter). (I'll try to post on the website.)
