Picking continues in the front and back field. Our later varieties still offer good picking because they are slower to ripen: Eberhardts, Dixies, Rubels, Stanleys, and Jerseys (front rows 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9; back rows 4, 5, 16, 17, 18). Other earlier varieties such as Pacific and Pemberton are available to taste. Our u-pick price is $2.50 lb; we-pick berries are available too.
Lots of sunflowers in different colors available in our u-pick garden. Tim chooses to grow a variety of colors so you can cut a pretty bouquet. Flowers are .50 cents each or $2.50 for 6.
You might consider trying our blueberry syrup recipe (on our website) this weekend. It's a family favorite and when fall weather looms, we begin thinking more about pancakes and waffles.
