Stories from the blueberry farm
Distracted driving happens on blueberry farms too. We try to mow the fields each week. As I mowed up and down the rows in the front field, I kept seeing ripe blueberries. So tempting. Finally, I reached out and grabbed a berry. Dropped it. Now I'm challenged. I looked for another berry. Grabbed that berry and promptly ran into the next blueberry bush. No, no, don't worry. The bush is fine. We have large bushes. Bu...t, I've been told by my husband not to eat and drive. Sigh.
Sunflowers are growing great. No more breakins by hungry rabbits. I've included an updated photo.
